Menggunakan Forum Sebagai Medium Pemasaran

Sebelum ini kami pernah berkongsi dengan anda 3 tips untuk melakukan pemasaran di forum. Bagaimana? Sudahkah anda mengaplikasikan tips tersebut? Forum masih lagi antara sumber trafik yang bagus di internet. Walaupun forum di katakan satu sumber trafik yang "oldschool" namun ia di lihat masih relevan sehingga kini. Tidak salah anda mencuba.

Ini kerana forum menjadi tempat untuk berkumpul bagi sekumpulan manusia yang mempunyai minat yang sama. Contohnya, orang ramai yang berkumpul di forum Lot.my, mempunyai minat yang sama iaitu 'perniagaan internet melalui e-dagang'. Mereka tidak berkumpul di situ kerana minat terhadap 'fesyen'.

Anda perlu membina kredibiliti sebelum memasarkan produk anda di forum. Ia boleh di lakukan dengan berkongsikan maklumat yang berguna dengan forumer yang lain. Apabila forumer mendapat manfaat dari anda, maka anda akan menjadi bahan rujukan kepada mereka. Jika anda berada di forum kesihatan, anda boleh kongsikan dengan forumer lain tips kesihatan yang berguna untuk mereka. Ini bukan sahaja dapat membina kredibiliti anda, malah reputasi dan kepercayaan forumer atau prospek terhadap anda akan meningkat.

Selain itu, anda juga boleh menggunakan forum untuk membina hubungan dengan forumer lain. Malah, anda boleh mencari rakan niaga anda di forum. Sebelum itu pastikan anda membina hubungan dengan forumer lain melalui pembinaan kredibiliti. Manalah tahu anda dapat bertemu dengan rakan niaga anda di situ. Tidak sukar, kerana sesuatu forum itu mempunyai pasaran yang spesifik.

Jadi, manfaatkan forum dan gunakannya dengan sebaiknya, sama ada untuk bertanya masalah atau berkongsi maklumat dengan forumer lain. Dari kami di Forum Lot.my

Bagaimana Untuk Upgrade Akaun Lot.my Anda Ke Plan Premium

1) Jika anda belum mempunyai akaun Lot.my, lakukannya dengan mendaftar akaun percuma anda dengan klik pada butang Sign Up di laman utama Lot.my. (Anda juga boleh klik di sini untuk terus ke bahagian Sign Up)


2) Masukkan semua maklumat yang di perlukan seperti nama kedai, email, dan password.


3) Kemudian, klik pada butang Sign Up and start selling! untuk mengesahkan pendaftaran.

4) Maklumat pendaftaran kemudian akan di hantar ke email anda. Tahniah anda berjaya membuka akaun percuma Lot.my, anda sudah boleh login ke dalam akaun anda.

5) Setelah anda login ke akaun anda, anda akan dapat lihat butang Upgrade di bahagian atas kanan panel admin anda. Untuk upgrade ke akaun premium, klik pada butang tersebut.


6) Kemudian, anda akan di bawa ke bahagian Plan Comparison. Di sini akan di tunjukkan plan yang anda sedang gunakan. Anda juga boleh melihat perbezaan antara plan basic dan premium. Jika anda bersetuju, klik pada butang Upgrade untuk ke bahagian Upgrade Confirmation.


7) Di bahagian Upgrade Comfirmation ini mempunyai 2 pilihan plan, iaitu bulanan dan tahunan. Anda boleh memilih salah satu plan yang di sediakan. Untuk plan bulanan, anda perlu membayar sebanyak RM39.90 untuk setiap bulan, bagi pakej tahunan pula, anda perlu membayar sebanyak RM399.00 untuk bayaran tahunan.


8) Setelah anda memilih plan yang anda mahukan, klik pada butang Upgrade untuk ke bahagian Billing Information yang juga bahagian pembayaran.

Peringatan : Anda memerlukan akaun Paypal untuk membuat pembayaran. Jika anda tidak mempunyai akaun Paypal, anda juga boleh menggunakan kad kredit atau pun kad debit.


9) Login ke akaun Paypal anda. Setelah login, anda akan di bawa ke bahagian Payment Review. Di sini, anda boleh melihat maklumat pembayaran anda.


10) Pastikan maklumat pembayaran anda betul. Jika anda sudah berpuas hati dengan maklumat tersebut, klik pada butang Agree and Pay untuk membuat pembayaran.


11) Kemudian, Paypal akan menghantar pengesahan pembayaran ke email anda.

12) Setelah pembayaran di sahkan, kami akan melakukan proses upgrade akaun anda.

13) Tahniah kerana berjaya untuk upgrade akaun Lot.my! Anda sudah boleh login ke akaun anda untuk mula berniaga dengan akaun premium anda.

How to Set Up Proper Total Cost in Checkout

One of new feature introduced in Lot.my is the ability for store owner to setup the total order cost to be displayed on the checkout page. With this feature, you can choose to display shipping cost, discount, sub-total cost and of cost the total cost. Here is how you can manage the display of your total cost.
  1. In admin page, go to Setting > Order Total.
  2. By default, Shipping, Sub-Total and Total are set enabled.


  3. Please check to make sure you have at least Total enabled. Or else, your checkout page will display 0.00 as total cost as shown below.


  4. To enable any of the order total type, just click Edit. Then set the Status to Enabled.
  5. If you setup your total as setting above, you'll be able to see checkout page as below.

How to Set Up a "Site Down for Maintenance"

You may want to "turn off" your online store when you are configuring the website. To do this, you need to enable the Maintenance Mode:.  In Maintenance Mode, a notification will appear on your store that lets visitors know it is down for maintenance. To make it enable, just follow this simple step.
  1. Go to Setting > Store.
  2. In Shop tab, find the Maintenance Mode at the bottom.
  3. By default, the no option is selected. To enable the Maintenance Mode, just select the yes option.
  4. Click the Save button.
  5. Now your store will be in Maintenance Mode. A notification as below will appear on your store.
  6. Once you're done working on your update, don't forget to "turn on" back your online store!

How to Add Malaysian Bank in Your PayPal Account.

As I wrote earlier, you can now use your Maybank, CIMB Bank or other local bank in your PayPal account. This enabled your Lot.my store to accept direct credit card or bank transfer online via PayPal.

In this post, I'll provide step-by-step guide on how you can link the local bank to your account. If you don't have an PayPal account yet, register here.
  1. Login to your PayPal account as usual, under the My Account tab, go Profile and click Add/Edit Bank Account.




  2. Now, in the Add a bank account in Malaysia page, please fill in the bank details as follows

    • Country of bank : Malaysia
    • Surname : (automatically filled)
    • Name : (put your first name, don't worry so much, PayPal didn't do cross check with the bank)
    • Bank name : (click the *details link to get your bank name and code)
    • MEPS bank routing code : (check the *details link)
    • Account number : (your account number)
    • Re-enter account number : (same as above)

    *Make sure you put the correct Bank name and MEPS banking code. If the code is wrong, you money will be ended up some where else.


    Once done, click the Continue button.


  3. A review message with the information you just entered will be
    displayed. If everything correct, hit Add Bank Account button.



  4. A confirmation message will appear next and now you're done!

How to Get Started with Lot.my

    This step is the quickest. It just took me 5 seconds to finish it. To signup, please click

    Make sure you entered all the details. Remember, your email must be valid as all the information will be sent to your email. Once done, just click the Sign-up and start Selling button.

    Congratulation. You've just created your online store. Wasn't that a breeze? Please remember the important link as shown in the image below. The same information is also sent to your email account.
    Now, to manage your new store, just click the button Login and Start Selling Now. It will bring you to your admin page.

  2. Setup Account and Store

    Now you are in admin page, to enter, just put in your password and click Login.

    Once login, for the first time, you can see the basic guide on how to setup your store. You just need to finish all the items to get your store ready.

    First setup your account details. Just go to Setting > Account. Make sure you put your first name and last name here. In case you want to change your password, please do it here. Else just leave it blank.

    Then, you need to setup your store. Just go to Setting > Store. Here you could add header, pick theme, put store description and more.
    Great, now you're one step closer to selling online.


  3. Gather Product Information

    If you're planning to open your online store, I guessed you may have this information ready. Just make sure you have all the details of the products like the description, price, model, etc. And make sure you have photos of you product. The more the better as Lot.my allows you to add as many product photos as you want.

  4. Add Product

    Once you ready with your product details, just head to the Product tab at the top. Since you're new your product list will be empty.

    To start add new product, just click the Insert button. There are many tabs and you can choose to fill all the fields or just the required ones (with *)

    Continue to add all you products and once completed. You can see it available on your online store.

    You can also create categories for your product but that is optional.

  5. Check Shipping

    Now you need to check the shipping options in Setting > Shipping. As default we set flat rate for the shipping cost. You can always change it as you want. Either it flat rate, per item, weight based or even for free. It all your choice. To enable the option, just click the Edit link.

  6. Check Payment

    To check the payment option, just go to Setting > Payment. Same as the shipping, we've created a default payment for new store. It's is Cash. And you always can change it to Bank Transfer, via PayPal or etc. To change just click Edit.


  7. Walla!

    Done! Wonderful isn't it. Now it's time to invite the customers in!
